Bunks are among the ideal things you can do for your children’s bedrooms. Small kids usually prefer bunk beds as there are lots of ways children can have enjoyment and entertaining moments with bunks that they just can't with ordinary beds.

Like these bunks can be transformed into a castle simply by hanging a sheet at the side of the upper bunk or possibly into a battleship, or a prison. Here your children can spend hours playing on kids bunk beds and having fun.

But on the other hand there are some security concerns that you must be aware of regarding kid’s bunks. Ensure few simple safety measures and your young ones can have years of entertainment and fun with their bunks and they will be happy to share their bedrooms.

Kids usually fall from the upper bunk while sleeping or playing. Obviously, dropping from the lower bunk isn't so much a problem, it's only 8 or 10 inches above the floor, but a fall from the upper bunk is a totally a different issue.

Make sure any kid’s bed you purchase has an appropriate security rail right around the edges of the top bunk. It is also recommended that there should have a gap of not more than 3 inches or so between the lower of the rail and the upper edges of the mattress, as big gap can let a small kid to drop through and maybe caught between the security rail and the mattress.
